Many thanks to all those who over the last six years have taken part in Run for the Future - Bristol's 5k family fun run for prostate cancer. So far you have helped us raise over £200,000 for prostate cancer research.

Run for the Future 2011 took place on Sunday 18th September at 12 noon on Bristol's Durdham Downs.

The 6th Run for the Future was a brilliant success with nearly 700 people taking part. Over the six years the event has taken place over £200,000 has been raised for prostate cancer research.

Carol Vorderman Noel Edmonds

Celebrities Carol Vorderman and Noel Edmonds are supporting Run for the Future and help to promote this event. Carol has taken part each year since 2008 and will continue her involvement in 2011.

The event takes place each September and is organised by Rotary in Bristol to raise money to fight prostate cancer which affects the lives of thousands of people in the UK.
